Diagnosing engine bar with bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), short-circuit to mass to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so a/c request b, circuit high and wait then throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
12179 Possible Causes:
12179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12179 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
