When you open tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), circuit low input will delay your vw fault. |

12179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 12179 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
