The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit . So for next cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
12177 Possible Causes:
12177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12177 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
