This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system cylinder 7 above knock threshold and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
12177 Possible Causes:
12177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12177 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request a, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
