The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault water in fuel condition mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground also please check dtc memory of engine ecu is the final reason of the code. |
12176 Possible Causes:
12176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 12176 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick down switch malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
