When you open direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ and wait then ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12173 Possible Causes:
12173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12173 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
