When you open outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low you can see the system too lean at higher load, bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
12170 Possible Causes:
12170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12170 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
