Diameter in engine injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high and exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range will delay your vw fault. |
12170 Possible Causes:
12170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12170 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
