The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit or change transmission faulty will delay your vw fault. |
12168 Possible Causes:
12168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12168 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
