Diagnosing engine bar with throttle position output, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance or pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12167 Possible Causes:
12167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12167 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
