The problem is about fuel pump "b" control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission range display, circuit open and wait then secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12165 Possible Causes:
12165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12165 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
