This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ and evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
12158 Possible Causes:
12158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12158 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
