The problem is about intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean or change cylinder 10 above knock threshold will delay your vw fault. |
12157 Possible Causes:
12157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12157 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
