The problem is about engine torque reduction, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance . So for next egr system, regulation range not reached will delay your vw fault. |
12153 Possible Causes:
12153 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 12153 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
