Accumulated in electronic control units so angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles starter interlock, circuit short to b+ also pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
12151 Possible Causes:
12151 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12151 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
