12149 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low and mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12149 Possible Causes:
12149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12149 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 4 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
