12146 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low and wait then power supply, voltage low voltage is the final reason of the code. |
12146 Possible Causes:
12146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12146 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
