12138 Description And Summary : |

When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure, too low - engine cranking and wait then vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
12138 Possible Causes:
12138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 12138 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
