Accumulated in electronic control units so evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module defective or relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12136 Possible Causes:
12136 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12136 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
