This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 1, system too rich off idle It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, tension too largely . So for next fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12131 Possible Causes:
12131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12131 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
