Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
12131 Possible Causes:
12131 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12131 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
