12128 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low and a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault.

12128 Possible Causes:

12128 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 12128 Code

  • Inspect all the connections activation intake manifold runner bank 2 control circuit, open
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
