12124 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of clutch ecu and ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12124 Possible Causes:
12124 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12124 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
