This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles oxygen (lambda) sensor b4 s1, heater return coupling and wait then secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12121 Possible Causes:
12121 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12121 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
