12118 Possible Causes:
12118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12118 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
