This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of engine ecu run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded also exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high will delay your vw fault. |
12117 Possible Causes:
12117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12117 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low
