Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor air leak between throttle body and intake valves or change data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control is the final reason of the code. |
12117 Possible Causes:
12117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 12117 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
