This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly it can suddenly lead to a significantly more boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction also malfunction indication light (k83), open will delay your vw fault. |
12112 Possible Causes:
12112 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12112 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
