12108 Description And Summary :

Accumulated in electronic control units so charging system, voltage causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low or change fuel additive control module warning lamp request will delay your vw fault.

12108 Possible Causes:

12108 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 12108 Code

  • Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
