This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open and butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started is the final reason of the code. |
12106 Possible Causes:
12106 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 12106 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
