The problem is about engine temperature too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12104 Possible Causes:
12104 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12104 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
