This code were stamped on VW Engine case bank 1; system too lean at idle mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
12101 Possible Causes:
12101 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12101 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
