The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow you can see the barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12100 Possible Causes:
12100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12100 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
