Diagnosing engine bar with egr system, regulation range not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large you can see the throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
12098 Possible Causes:
12098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12098 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
