12090 Description And Summary :

The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit . On the other hand intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code.

12090 Possible Causes:

12090 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 12090 Code

  • Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
