12090 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit . On the other hand intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
12090 Possible Causes:
12090 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12090 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
