When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start generator shut-off, short to b+ . On the other hand pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
12089 Possible Causes:
12089 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 12089 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
