The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles charge pressure fan relay (j712), open and valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12083 Possible Causes:
12083 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12083 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
