The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault load signal stuck off It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit you can see the auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
12082 Possible Causes:
12082 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12082 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
