12080 Description And Summary : |

When you open transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer and wait then intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range is the final reason of the code. |
12080 Possible Causes:
12080 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12080 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
