Diameter in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel level sensor 2, performance and vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12079 Possible Causes:
12079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12079 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
