This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition switch accessory position, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high . So for next air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
12079 Possible Causes:
12079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich
