12079 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach or exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
12079 Possible Causes:
12079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12079 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
