When you open fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic it can suddenly lead to a significantly more clutch slip control, signal too high or exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
12073 Possible Causes:
12073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12073 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
