12070 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit and exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error is the final reason of the code. |
12070 Possible Causes:
12070 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 12070 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
