The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high and intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature will delay your vw fault. |
12064 Possible Causes:
12064 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 12064 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
