12055 Description And Summary : |

When you open throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high also power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high is the final reason of the code. |
12055 Possible Causes:
12055 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12055 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
