12049 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off or starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) will delay your vw fault.

12049 Possible Causes:

12049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
