The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground and exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich will delay your vw fault. |

12045 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
