The problem is about reservoir for additive for particle filter, empty retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1; system too lean at idle or data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control will delay your vw fault. |
12045 Possible Causes:
12045 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12045 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
