12044 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses and secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12044 Possible Causes:
12044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12044 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
