12038 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction . So for next generator shut-off, open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12038 Possible Causes:
12038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12038 Code
