The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault load signal, error message from ecu it can suddenly lead to a significantly more engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high and o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 will delay your vw fault. |
12031 Possible Causes:
12031 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12031 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
