12029 Description And Summary : |

When you open nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12029 Possible Causes:
12029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12029 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
