Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
12028 Possible Causes:
12028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12028 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
