12024 Description And Summary : |

When you open secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed sensor 'b' . So for next exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error is the final reason of the code. |
12024 Possible Causes:
12024 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12024 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
