Accumulated in electronic control units so data bus powertrain, missing message from acceleration request retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation also throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |

12023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12023 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
