Diagnosing engine bar with reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit also exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
12021 Possible Causes:
12021 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12021 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no communication
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
