This code were stamped on VW Engine case water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed mil control circuit, open / short to b+ and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12020 Possible Causes:
12020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 12020 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
